i was displeased with beyonce's performance in cadillac records. she wasn't horrible, but she wasn't great. jeffrey wright on the other hand...My Lord!! even columbus short did a good job.
i just think that any role where beyonce has to sing..or portray an artists, too much of her "beyonce-ness" comes in to play and makes her unbelievable.
A half way good singer is not an actress...
