Professor Tracey And Her New Puppy Pancho - The Lil' Blue-Eyed Devil Wish Everyone A Happy New Year!

Meet my new lil' bad-ass - Pancho aka The Lil' Blue-Eyed Devil
I will always love and miss my other Lil' Monsta Che, but this little guy is worming his way into my heart. He thinks he's running things just like Che did. Don't let the white fur fool you, this is a "magic negro" dawg - nice huge brown spot on his butt. One drop rule in full effect!

Selena January 1, 2009 at 1:23 AM

Just ended up here for the first time through a series of links....

It is very disheartening to read posts/comments that reflect so much racism or preoccupation with race. We are all "race" is really trivial. Why not start obsessing about blue eyes or people with flat feet? In todays' time, obsession with race is just grotesque.

Two of your favorite movies, Rabbit Proof Fence and Once Were Warriors are also two of my favorite movies. They are two of a trio of movies I call boo-hoo cryin movies. The third is the movie King of Masks. I thought King of Masks would be a little quaint and sorta was but it still left me boo-hoo cryin.

Oh no NOT the MAGIC NEGRO DAWG... LOL!!!!!

Prof Tracey, he is absolutely beautiful. I look forward to reading about the adventures you two will explore.

Happy New Year Sista~

Aaaw! What a sweetie! Congrats on the new family member.

...And count me in as one more for the Twilight Zone marathon.

(Off to tell my black-and-white Border Collie about the one-drop rule.)

Professor Tracey January 2, 2009 at 1:46 PM

I'm black and proud of it. I always wonder when folks start "talking" about the "human race" when a situation revolves around the voices and experiences of black people.

This blog is called Aunt Jemima's Revenge, not I forgive folks for ever having invented Aunt Jemima in the first place, let's all be humans now.

I can't afford to run around with my head in the sand pretending racism does not exist and I will never pretend that my blackness does not make me unique as a human being.

And race is trivial to whom? this country would not be making a big deal out of a black president if race was trivial and if race was truly trivial, we would have had a person of color in the white house long before now considering some of the idiots that have been elected in the past.

And considering the number of comments and reactions I get, a whole lot of folks don't think talking, debating and discussing race and racism is trivial.

And lastly, this was a joke post about my new puppy for God sakes, my regular readers clearly get it. If you had read a few more posts without judging maybe you would have gotten the joke too.

WELL, Stand in your Tower sister T and Proclaim your Stance!
one day at a time.....

ActsofFaithBlog January 3, 2009 at 2:46 AM

OK I was wondering why you had a dog with white fur and blue eyes!

Laura January 3, 2009 at 8:03 PM

I'm sure there are a lot of people interested in obsessing about race as there are a lot of racist people. In today's time, race is trivial to people who are not racist. I think it is freeing to think of myself as a member of the human race, not as a person of any particular hue.

Anyway, best of luck to you.

I hope there are many, many people, who happen to be so-called "black", who have the strength to follow their beliefs and be true to themselves in the face of being called "Uncle Tom" by people (racists?) like you.

Professor Tracey January 3, 2009 at 10:54 PM

@Laura -

So in your dumb ass opinion, if black folks want to talk bout issues related to black people, they are obsessed with race and are therefore racists. That's the dumbest shit I ever heard in my life!

And for a bitch so concerned with eliminating people talking about race, you don't mind calling folks racist. Funny that.

I really hate people who come on a black blog and want to tell you to stop talking about black folks.

Stay the fuck off my blog!

Professor Tracey January 3, 2009 at 10:58 PM

@Laura -

If you want to believe that it's okay for your "human race" to refer to the first black man that was elected President as a "magic negro" fine, I'll stay over here where "real" black folks will have the guts, heart, and self-respect to cuss your ass out for calling me that racist crap!

Good luck to you too!

Laura, clearly this isn't the blog for you. Professor Tracey only speaks for herself. We come here to read it, enjoy the humor in it, and move on. I'm sure you can google "ambiguous negro blog" to find something of your liking. LOL Static in 2009? Don't start none, won't be none.

I literally laughed at loud at this quote: Don't let the white fur fool you, this is a "magic negro" dawg - nice huge brown spot on his butt. One drop rule in full effect!

Happy New Year

Naturally Me! January 5, 2009 at 2:18 PM

Aaaw, one drop rule indeed! He looks just like my dog, Georgie (an all white Amer. Bulldog, with black ears and black nose). Yes, named after President Bush because they both can't say Nuclear. LOL joking

Enjoy the little guy while he's still little. He will bring you lots of laughs and good times.

Lindiwe January 20, 2009 at 5:00 AM
