If Gov. Bobby Jindal Is The Best Thing The GOP Has To Offer - President Obama Has Absolutely Nothing To Worry About In 2012

This was a mega-classic GOP disaster for the ages. Gov. Bobby Jindal came off like an extremely weird GOP version of Gomez from The Addams Family or one of those really strange nameless nerds on some of those science programs that air on PBS. He sounded like the dude on Blue's Clues explaining something to toddlers. And it didn't help that he came creeping in looking like Mr. Burns from The Simpsons. In terms of his look, his tone, and his speaking style, this man actaully had me missing Gov. Sarah Palin!
In terms of his speech - what in the high holy hell was the man talking about? The Red Menace? Slavery? What in the hell did that have to do with Obama's speech? And what republican in his right mind would bring up Hurricane Katrina as an example of anything, in particular Jindal's praising of a sheriff that embraced race-profiling of black people in Louisiana?

And what did he offer in rebuttal? NOTHING! Somewhere in Alaska, Sarah Palin is just grinning from ear to ear. The GOP is in big trouble. As someone noted earlier this evening, with Bobby Jindal, Michael Steele, and Sarah Palin, the GOP is like three Pinkys with no Brain.

Obama defiantly has nothing to worry about in 2012!

Nope, not a damn thing.

Barack Obama is to the Repubs what Tiger Woods is to the rest of the PGA tour - kryptonite.

Too big, too fast, too smart, too strong, and too good a storyteller to get knocked out the box by a guy who looks like a third year medical resident.

The insulting thing is that the GOP didn't present their best and strongest speaker. They had to shove the novice "Obama Alternative" front and center. Totally patronizing and pandering.

I couldn't stop laughing on this one!

Governor Jindal told a fairy tale and is nothing more than the GOP's latest offering in wrapper politics. I slept later this morning than than the guy at Politico, perhaps, but woke up still fuming at Jindal's idiocy. http://pinurl.com/lvq.

He dared to invoke the name of Harry Lee! Black people down here in Louisiana knew Lee well, and Jindal proved he's out of touch again. Talking to a national audience like he's speaking to a classroom of kindergartners is only the tip of the iceberg.

I love their excuses for why he didn't stand a chance, such as the back drop and being in an empty room. I recall Jim Webb did just fine.

Next!

It sounded like a bedtime story you read to your kids. How in the hell did he get elected governor?
