More Mega-Sized Empty Buildings Coming To A Site Near You - Virgin Megastores Closing In The U.S.
I always had a headache after exiting a Virgin Megastore. To hell with them, I'm glad their stores are shutting down.

I love this store, well the stores in New York and Florida. I could go in there and listen to music and easily drop $200 at a time. Luckily I my job has stopped my travel and I can visit any more.............
Living in NC, good house music is as hard to find as snow. Going in Virgin was a real treat because they were one of the last stores that workers actually played the music they liked. You could listen to music over the speakers and also on the mini Kiosks. Music that was not in the top 50, not homogenized. That is how a lot of new artists were heard. Virgin is gone, Willie's Records and Tapes is gone, my old friend Sounds Familiar is on its way out. Full service record stores have gone the way of the radio...........................and vinyl -- now where do I find vinyl? l................................ arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I haven't been inside a record store in years, let alone a Virgin megastore (???).
Too many god damn stores selling the same expensive shit. I know people need jobs but enough is enough! They can sell whatever they sell in their numerous cell phone stores. One day we'll be back to the plain ole Radio Shacks of years gone by.
Virgin pull out of Columbus a long time back.
I have purchased my music from the same store since the day it opened it doors. They have a great selection, reasonable prices and they offer sell backs.
i miss the RECORD BAR!
