More Proof That Carbon Copy Recreations Of White TV Shows Don't Work - Comedy Central's Chocolate News Canceled
Now maybe white folks will let black folks create their own ORIGINAL programming instead of these lame ass attempts to re-create The Daily Show. I don't want to watch a white show in black face. And maybe someone will actually hire a real African American journalist to do the evening news instead of uneducated clowns like D.L. Hughley.

Interesting. I liked neither show, this one or D. L. Hughley's thing.
Come on. I loved that show. The sketch comedy aspect moved it into a different category than Colbert.
I never even bothered to tune into to this mess because the darn commercial was ignorant enough!

Damn Professor, we know its your blog....allow the ignorant to have their counterpoint, and educate them. I disagree with you on University of Phoenix, online education is the future, I know graduates of the Ivy Leagues and HBCU that have obtain degrees from UP, and are highly intelligent folk...and that being said why did we have to endure that foolishness called Chocolate City from a Yale graduate like David Allen Grier!

First, I'm not against David Alan Grier. He's talented. I didn't like the show. As a black person, I don't have to like every show on the air because it's black. Further, just because I don't like a show, doesn't mean I don't respect the actors involved.
Two, everyone is welcome to their opinion on my blog...that is....until they get to trying to be a insulting smart ass like Mr. Romper Stomper above you in this comments section.
Now, if you don't like the post fine. If you have an opposite belief fine. But, if you only objective is to make some stupid-ass comment directed at me, well, you will get as good as you give.
On a side note, you have a point about the University of Phoenix, but I also know quite a few dummy lamonts with degrees from that institution that really should not have been granted a degree in the first place and I will never consider a PH.D earned at an on-line institution as the same degree as mine. It's a completely different experience, but that another blog post entirely.

i love david that is why we watched this maybe 2 times, well, parts of it--as i could never remember when and where it was to air.
and after a few skits were recycled--'it won't funny nomore!' lol
And it was on mostly after i was asleep.
Yeah, online education is great! If i went that route TO Further mine-- i would need a much better place than the one you all mentioned.
