Completely Jacked Up Casting News - Seth Rogan Is So Wrong To Be The Green Hornet

Seth Rogan is not fit enough or cool enough to play The Green Hornet. I am now completely horrified at who these yahoos might cast to be The Green Hornet's sidekick, Kato. And I really hope this dude is not going to try to make it a comedy/action flick either.

Gary (Phillips) and I have been working on a graphic novel version and of course this undermines the gravitas, let's say. hahaha.

This project has been tossed around with at least 4 directors attached to it, and it's all been b.s. The most promising--if you will--was Stephen Chow (actor-drector of Kung Fu Hustle etc.). Kato would've been the central character, basically.
The idea of turning this into a comedy (what else could it be) is sad but when you think of the cheesy TV show (which is an icon make no mistake) it's not tough. Then again, look at the difference b/w Adam West and Christian Bale.

We evisioned a female Kato. LOL The Black beauty would have been a tricked out Chrysler 300...

We're still going ahead with the project (can't give you publisher details for legal purposes) but we are cringing all the way.

Rogen is way too overexposed and his reign will end badly.

That isn't new news at all. This was announced like Summer of last year. I like him...he's funny...but then again he's also my type. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because I've never seen him in an awful movie yet, unlike some people.

@Phi Sister -

What does this not being "new news" got to do with anything at all? And I'm sure Seth Rogan has many fans, I'm not against him as an actor, but he is absolutely the wrong choice for the role of The Green Hornet.

@gsutiger2
Because Jews in Hollywood celebrate other mediocrity of other Jews! Woody Allen and Adam Sandler have gotten away with this for over thirty years!

They should have choosen someone like Timothy Olyphant!
