Should The Obama Chicken Restaurant Change It's Name?
I don't have a real opinion on this, I just think the name is stupid. What do you think? Shall we meet at Obama's for breakfast to discuss it?

As long as I can get Chicken and Waffles, all jokes aside...how many of these places exist? I saw another place in NYC that Rev Al Sharpin wants to organize a protest against!
Is this really racist or a cheap marketing ploy to exploit euphoria of the moment?

This is a capitalist nation. No one ever said that the practice of earning money off of a product would be politically correct or non-offensive.
If the people in the community support the "Obama Chicken Joints" with their patronage, perhaps there needs to be a mass educational protest held instead.
There are going to be a lot more offensive moments during Obama's time in office. I just hope that not too much energy is put into trivial things like this. We have far more important issues to handle business over.
I read a comment somewhere that stated folks have named chicken houses after past POTUS' such as Kennedy and Lincoln. Plus, that logo looks like a mixture of Heineken and brainstorming on pot (chicken and pizza?!)...
I don't think it's racist. There are worse things his name could be attached to.
I don't waste too much time defending this because there are 'real' issues in this world.
