The Endless War in Iraq
It's five years later, the USA is billions of dollars in debt and 4,000 U.S. soldiers are dead and our Vice-President is saying "So?" to three-quarters of the American people who no longer support the war. Can ANYONE really say if this war will bring democracy to Iraq? Can ANYONE really say there will EVER be peace in the Middle East? Can ANYONE really say that America is safe from terrorists and terrorism? If anyone says they can, I'm going to have a hard time believing them, they are going to need more people to convince me.

I was actually watching cable news when the story broke of the # of soldiers dead in Iraq hit 4000. So many lives lost, old and young, with only a huge, ginormous debt to show for it.
