SheCodes is asking for a re-newed boycott of Fox News and Liz Trotta and she is absolutely 100% correct! Electronic Villager has also started the call for people to begin contacting Fox to demand her immediate firing and he is also absolutely 100% correct.

There is absolutely nothing funny about being openly racist journalist or joking that a husband, father of two young little girls, and the future president of our country be murdered! A major line has been crossed!!!!!!!

I hear you, but I ask this, if the shoe was on the other foot and Barack Obama was in Hillary's position and made the same statements, what do you think the response would be?
Considering the monstrous overreaction to Rev. Wright's comments, I consider black folks reaction to Hillary and Trotta's comments an under-reaction.
And isn't it different when black folks joke about things that different affect them? Isn't that how folks deal with fear and things they actually believe could happen? It's a lot difference when folks that don't have that experience want to joke about it. No one has threatened Hillary or Liz Trotta's lives.
We both know it is unimaginable that Obama would have the same type of thoughts, let alone say them. Also bottomline he would not have been allowed to stay in the race --- shoe on the other foot the superdelegates would have announced by now.
At least we have seen how the Wright mess changed the standards somewhat regarding vetting ministers as shown last week. As someone joked yesterday at this point you wonder will any candidate attend church.

I don't think this is a problem with one individual. This is reflective of Fox News as an institution. I think we should try to shut Fox news down
I signed a petition calling for that 'person' to be fired and wrote an email to Brian Lewis. You know there's an ongoing effort by Boyce Watkins to call on the advertisers of Fox News to pull out as well. Perhaps our efforts have not been coordinated enough.

A number of people have also filed complaints with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. It's very easy to do and only takes a minute. The more people that file this type of complaint, the more we can hope that something actually happens to this racist shrew.
