White Folks Who Still Don't Get It Chronicles - Upscale NY Bakery Sells "Drunken Negro Face" Obama Cookies
It's stuff like this that helps explain why one of the top killers of black folks is heart disease. Just when black folks start taking a sigh of relief that white folks are getting it, one of their crew comes up with some bullshit like this. How in the hell did this dude even BEGIN to think this was a good idea? And then some white folks add insult to injury by calling this crap free speech. 
I would love to see a black-owned bakery produce something like this directed at white folks. How about a "Completely Clueless White Face" cookie featuring two vanilla flavored lady fingers with marshmallow fluff cream filling, dipped in white chocolate and a gummy dunce cap on top? I wonder how much talk about "free speech" would we get then?

All I can do is give this one a blank stare. Someone actually thought this would be funny!? I wonder how many people bought them. Aside from the obvious racist undertones, it just doesn't even look appetizing.

I can see and feel how this would be painful. It's as offensive as all get out, but the man has the right to make an ass of himself as long as he doesn't hurt anyone else. I doubt that he sells too much of that stuff anyway just as fat racist white boy cup cakes wouldn't sell either.
This is passive aggressive and just low. This guy WISHES things were like that. He's trying to warp our perception of Obama. It may be "just" a cake, but it's really deeper.
That's why we've got to remain hopeful of our new prez and dream and imagine his success...and ours.

we went to google map-put in the name of the bakery(wanted to know what street he is located on in the vilage) and found reviews about this place that have nothing to do directly with the jackedup cookies he made.
there are comments about the quality of his products as being rotten, stale, etc...just plain nasty.
and he also made dead bird cookies in relation to the plane crash landing in the hudson.
so he is just crazy and racist.
i told you prof in another post of yours that ="we are Getting prepared to keep overlooking the hate and stupidness that is bound to increase as IT IS moved out of the way! Uknow, it's going to fight to stay around!"
a friends father told her since Obama was sworn in he has seen MUCH already--he was in line at a pitsburgh g-store checking out and the clerk just walked away from the register and refused to check him out.
not outraged as our friends fahter is well past 50 yrs old and from the south, so he has in his lifetime seen/experienced Much crap like this--but he said he laughed outloud as another clerk mumbled under her breath some very negative comments about black people.
nothing new, AS she checked him out.
nothing new for those of us that have experinced racism before.
we've been waiting for our girls to come home from school one day telling us of some craziness some little child may say to them. we know it's going to happen.
and we will have to explain that yes, she was your 'friend' yesterday but today......AND
you two will grow and be made stronger by it.

There's nothing we can say to turn the heart of an individual like this or to increase his intelligence.
Someone out there will buy this shit and he will continue to make money off of people and their misfortunes.
Even the negative attention is increasing curiosity seekers.
