I was just thinking that Obama has certainly helped to stimulate the economy. There are so many Obama related products on the market these days. Which says a lot about the pop-culture mentality of Americans.
I would buy the chocolates. Not so much for his image-I am a major chocolate consumer. I usually eat at least one piece of chocolate a day. So they might get me to share some of my hard earned income.
Being the foodie that I am, I could see some real nutritional value in sushi as well. Since the Obamas are into healthy eating, this might be one way to draw folks into trying a different food.
I learned recently that Obamania is not limited to North America. There are Greek coins with his image on it that are for sale.
In due time the pop culture aspect may wear off. But I suspect for this year he will be a hot ticket item internationally.
When I saw it, I just said to myself; I can't eat my president...Putting my teeth to his face....and I am a chocoholic too:)
Between these chocolates, sushi and waffle mix, all of these Obama-related food products are lost on me. Of all the different methods to backhandedly disrespect the President, why the culinary route? Am I missing something?
It was time to stop when they made the Obama dildo.
I think some of this is done in good nature, others just want the money. I think the correct path is to make charitable donations with a portion of the profits earned on using President Obama or his family. Give something back to the community.
