"The Watchmen" Sucked Truly Radioactive Gigantic Blue Mega-Balls

I was relaxing in my hotel room and decided to catch a film I did not see - The Watchmen. What a dog of a movie! Bloated, Boring, and Bullshit. It was pretty to look at, but hard to sit through. The acting was terrible, the characters and the story made no sense at all and the movie was just to damn long at nearly three hours. It was a damn waste of a great graphic novel.

I remember hearing about this graphic novel as a teen in the '90s. I never read it until someone requested it at the library I worked at about a few months ago. Still haven't seen the movie...

What are you talking about? They changed very little (except the squid) but that was for small-minded people. I highly disagree. I heard an editor's cut is going to be in theaters next week and I'm very excited. I've owned the graphic novel for several years and I appreciated their representation of the intensely complicated characters.

LOL, oh now it wasn't THAT bad! It can't compete with the graphic novel but I thought there were some good moments.

Sorry Phi Sister,

I didn't say anything about what they changed or didn't change from the graphic novel. The movie was too long and the acting was poor, particularly from the lead female character, she was awful and the "smartest man in the world" looked like and escapee from Dance Fever.

The fight scenes were nothing special and it just never seemed to interest me. I enjoyed the graphic novel much more. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but they won't be getting anymore money from me. In my opinion it sucked for the amount of hype.

I know it was horrible. At least you didn't take your 12 year old son to the movies to see it. He was horrified like I was. A superhero who's a rapist, another walks around with his penis dangling. It was just too much

I wasted money on that movie. I took my 12 year old son. Big mistake!!! It was crazy as hell
