Hip Hop Hater Bill Cosby To Release Hip Hop Album

For the man that continues to forget that he produced the heavily ebonics laced ghetto cartoon Fat Albert and the Gang, comes a brand new head turning announcement. Bill Cosby does hip hop. Mr. Cosby is not going to rap himself, but ask others to help out. Considering how he has blasted rap music and hip hop artists, I can't imagine who would help out.

The New Big Money Question - To Buy Or Not Buy A House?

I'm planning on moving soon and looking at what I would have to pay for rent, I am strongly considering buying a house. Yet, the economy is so bad and the housing market is worse. I'm just not sure what to do. There are tons of houses on the market where I live and I just can't measure if buying a home is a good investment at this time. I really hate renting and I really hate paying someone a bunch of money for a place I don't own. I am also tired of moving and I am ready to be settled for a while. I just don't know. What do you think?

When Folks Have Too Much Money And Time II

Would you did any wine with this dude's name on it? What nitwit has invested money in a hip hop winery? It never ceases to amaze me, how much and how often hip hop stars waste money and time on stuff that does nothing to uplift the race. How about starting something related to education or putting green space in urban neighborhoods? They always get us with the absolutely useless stuff.

Georgia Third Graders Get Caught In Plot To Rub Out Teacher

See what happens that when a sista takes off a couple days from blogging! Damn! What in the hell is our world coming to? Third graders bringing a murder kit to school? And folks wonder why people don't want to teach K-12? I don't care if the "experts" think these kids didn't really plan to hurt someone, they picked out these items and brought them to school. The intent alone is scary. Where were these kids parents? Is anyone paying any attention to kids in school?

The Criminal Justice System Fails To Do It's Job Again!

The suspected killers of UNC Chapel Hill student body president should have been under extensive and intensive focus from the agency supervising their probation. Instead, their cases were being handled by an inexperienced probation officer with no training. Somebody should be fired, but of course, they have not done that. They also don't seem to have a clue as to how to fix the problem. I am not against folks getting locked up, but if you are not going to do anything for rehabilitation while they are locked up and you are not going to supervise them when they are released, what do you think they are going to do?

Operation Safe Passage

There have been so many students killed by violence in the last two years in the Chicago school system, the police, parents, and other community leaders have started escorting students to school each day. The new program is called "Operation Safe Passage." It's a damn shame that kids who want to go to school can't get there without escorts and it's a further damn shame that parents still don't feel their kids are safe even with the escorts. Black folk need to start working hard to turn this around now, we have at least two entire generations that are in desperately serious jeopardy.
